Our semi-prepared meal kits are made for 4-6 people to share, and include everything you need for an amazing lunch or dinner at home. A little bit of cooking and assembly is required.

Rasta Pasta KIT

One of the Original Salty Menu Items!

Get a pot of water and season it with salt. It should taste like seawater! This adds flavor to your pasta during the cooking process. Put the water on high heat and bring to a boil. Once boiling add your fettuccini and cook for approximately 7 minutes. This will give you an el dente noodle. If you like it softer cook it a bit longer. During the cooking process stir the pasta often to keep it from sticking together, once cooked to your liking drain in a colander, pour carefully as it will be hot! Set aside and proceed to the next steps!

Rasta with Chicken?

Good choice! In a large frying pan, place on medium high heat with a little bit of vegetable oil. Once the oil is hot add the chicken and cook until 90% cooked. The best way to test this is to break into a chunk of chicken and ensure it is almost fully cooked. Add the sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the cooked noodles and cook with the sauce and chicken until the sauce just sticks to the noodles!

Rasta with Chorizo?

This is my favorite!  In a large frying pan, place on medium high heat break the chorizo into small chunks by hand and place in the pan. Stir well and break up any large pieces with a pair of tongs. Cook until caramelized! Add the cooked noodles and cook with the sauce and chorizo until the sauce just sticks to the noodles!

Rasta with Prawns.

A treat for sure! In a large frying pan, place on medium high heat with a little bit of vegetable oil, once hot add the prawns, cook for 3o seconds until they start to turn color, then flip and cook for another 30 seconds! This dish is fast! Add the sauce and bring to a simmer. Add the cooked noodles and cook with the sauce and prawns until the sauce just sticks to the noodles!Rasta with No Protein. Place the sauce in a frying pan and bring to a simmer, Add the cooked noodles and cook with the sauce until the sauce just sticks to the noodles!Garnish the pasta with the grated parmesan cheese and get ready to enjoy!

Mussel KIT

Break bread over this dish with your family, sop up the sauce with our fresh baguette to get all of the addictive sauces.

Preheat the oven to 350°F. Place your baguette in the oven for approximately 7 minutes until warmed.

This dish is as simple as they come! In a large pot add the sauce and mussels, bring the sauce and mussels to a simmer covered over medium high heat and cook until the mussels are piping hot!

Cut the bread into 1” chunks and put in a bowl.

Once the mussels are hot, pour them and the sauce into another bowl with a serving spoon. Dish out sauce and mussels and dip that bread!

Fish Taco KIT

This is one of our most popular dishes! The fresh flavours will get you thinking about the summer!

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Prep the garnishes; Cut the lime into 8 wedges, set aside. Cut the avocado in ½ and remove the pit, slice each ½ of the avocado into 6 pieces, you should get 12 slices of avocado, 1 slice for each taco. Slice or diced the jalapenos, make sure you wash your hands well after handling jalapenos!

In a large frying pan, place on medium high heat with a little bit of vegetable oil.

Once the oil is hot add the fish taco portion and cook until the seafood is fully cooked and firm to the touch.

Place the tortilla shells on a bake tray and warm in the oven for 1-2 minutes.

Once the tortillas are hot and the fish portion is cooked it’s time to have some fun building your tacos!

Start with laying out the shells, place a slice of avocado on each shell, then portion out the cooked seafood evenly onto the tacos and avocado, divide the cabbage up and squeeze the fresh lime over the cabbage.

Drizzle Sriracha mayo over the cabbage and toss your jalapenos on top. Now you are ready to dig into these awesome tacos!

For another kick of Mexican flare we have added Valentina Hot Sauce – drizzle over top of the tacos or dip right into it, its your choice!

Fisherman's Pot KIT

This is a hearty meal fit for your family – soul food!

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Prep the rice; remove from the original packaging and into a microwave safe bowl.

Prep the Garnish; Slice and dice the tomatoes into ½” chunks! This will test your knife skills. Slice the green onions to 1/4” and set aside.

In a large pot combine the seafood, the vegetable and sauce, stir the ingredients for even cooking. Bring to a simmer covered until the seafood is fully cooked. Stir often during the cooking process!

Place the bowl of rice in the microwave and heat 1 minute then stir with a fork and heat for an additional minute. Continue this process until rice is piping hot.

Put the naan in the oven directly on the rack for 2-3 minutes! Set a timer!!!! Cook until warm, and brush with garlic butter.

Ladle a scoop of the sauce/seafood and veggies over top of the rice in a bowl.Garnish with diced tomatoes and sliced green onions. Serve with warmed buttered naan bread on the side and enjoy one of our most popular dishes!

6oz Sirloin KIT

It’s a great time to dust off that BBQ and treat your family to some excellent steaks.

Remove the steaks from the package and dry with a paper towel to remove juices.

Take the rub provided and place on a plate and spread out.

Take each steak and press both sides of each steak in the rub ensuring a nice coverage on the steaks.

You can do this step as far ahead as 4-6 hours to get that flavour into the steak.

Prep the mashed potatoes; remove them from the original packaging and into a microwave safe bowl.

Prep the Asparagus; trim the asparagus ends to get rid of the woody ends, you can snap them off with your hands or use a knife and cutting board.


Light the BBQ🔥

You want to get that baby hot for the best steak caramelization and flavour development.

Once the BBQ is hot then cook your steaks how you like them.You got this. Show your family you are a BBQ master.

Place the asparagus in a frying pan with some butter, water and season with salt and pepper Lid them and steam the asparagus until bright green and just fork tender. Pour off any excess water and panfry for 30 seconds to coat with butter and seasoning.

Place the bowl of mashed potatoes in the microwave and heat 1 minute then stir with a fork and heat for an additional minute. Continue this process until potatoes are piping hot.

Grab your perfectly cooked steaks from the BBQ and enjoy your meal!

SALMON KIT

This Pacific Salmon comes in Fresh! The glaze is addictive and not just because it has Jim Beam in it...

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Prep the rice; remove from the original packaging and into a microwave safe bowl.

Prep the Garnish; Slice the lemon into 6 wedges. Slice the green onions to 1/4” and set aside.

Prep the Asparagus; trim the asparagus ends to get rid of the woody ends, you can snap them off with your hands or use a knife and cutting board.

Place the salmon on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Place the salmon in the oven and cook for approx. 10-13 minutes until the salmon has reached 155°F minimum - this temp will give you a medium well salmon with a tinge of pink left inside. Cook for longer until its 165°F if you like it more well done.

Glaze the salmon 1 minute before you remove it from the oven.

Place the bowl of rice in the microwave and heat 1 minute then stir with a fork and heat for an additional minute. Continue this process until rice is piping hot.

Place the asparagus in a frying pan with some butter, water and season with salt and pepper. Lid them and steam the asparagus until bright green and just fork tender.

Pour off any excess water and panfry for 30 seconds to coat with butter and seasoning.

Garnish the salmon with sesame seeds and green onion, place the lemon wedge on the side.

MAHI MAHI KIT

This Fish is native to Hawaii, a great white-fish. We serve it with pistachio butter for richness and flavour.

Preheat the oven to 350°F

Prep the rice; remove from the original packaging and into a microwave safe bowl.

Prep the Garnish; Slice the lemon into 6 wedges. Warm the pistachio butter to room temperature.

Prep the Asparagus; trim the asparagus ends to get rid of the woody ends, you can snap them off with your hands or use a knife and cutting board.

Place the Mahi Mahi on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Place the fish in the oven and cook for approx. 10-15 minutes until the Mahi has reached 160°F minimum, this temp will give you a medium well fish. Cook for longer until its 165°F if you like it more well done.

If you don’t have a thermometer the fish should be firm to the touch when fully cooked.Place the bowl of rice in the microwave and heat 1 minute then stir with a fork and heat for an additional minute. Continue this process until rice is piping hot.

Place the asparagus in a frying pan with some butter, water and season with salt and pepper.Lid them and steam the asparagus until bright green and just fork tender.

Pour off any excess water and panfry for 30 seconds to coat with butter and seasoning.

Garnish the Mahi with a small scoop of pistachio butter and let it melt over the fish, place the lemon wedge on the side and squeeze over fish for fresh lemon juice.

CHICKEN KIT

This is the best chicken you will ever eat!

Preheat the oven to 400°F or Preheat the BBQ to medium high.

Prep the mashed potatoes; remove them from the original packaging and into a microwave safe bowl.

Prep the Asparagus; trim the asparagus ends to get rid of the woody ends, you can snap them off with your hands or use a knife and cutting board

OVEN DIRECTIONS:

Place the chicken on a baking sheet and season with salt and pepper. Place in the oven and cook for approx. 12-14 minutes until the temperature on the chicken is 165°F.

For the last 4 minutes turn the oven on broil to crisp up the skin of the chicken! Using a pastry brush or spoon smother the breasts with BBQ sauce.

BBQ DIRECTIONS:

Season the breasts with salt and pepper.Place the chicken skin side down on the BBQ and cook until the skin is golden brown and crispy!Once the skin is crispy, flip the chicken and cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

Using a pastry brush or spoon smother the breasts with BBQ sauce.

Place the asparagus in a frying pan with some butter, water and season with salt and pepper. Lid them and steam the asparagus until bright green and just fork tender.

Pour off any excess water and panfry for 30 seconds to coat with butter and seasoning.

Place the bowl of mashed potatoes in the microwave and heat 1 minute then stir with a fork and heat for an additional minute. Continue this process until potatoes are piping hot.
